G´day peeeeeeple!

This here is the latest I have done. Have been rather busy graduating and getting a job but now that both of those matters are in order, I might even have time to drop by here more often. And I will start off with this.

Illustrations for a newspaper, cover and then two spreads (four pages). Pencildrawings, some watercolor backdrops and crappily computer-crafted characters. I ran out of time, should´ve rendered them properly with traditional media but deadline forced me to do this. Crap!

Anyways, I hope the positive sides outweight the sloppy parts.

Enjoy-o!

PS. Updated my portfolio a little bit too, go have a look. It is mostly in finnish for the time being but you will get it anyway... (and sorry for the long url, I haven´t figured out what my domain should be called... Big decision as you might know :D)

I dig it. The two different styles help to convey the isolation the lady is feeling. The background characters are simplified well and work for me. If anything the main character could be simplified a bit, but still retain the realistic rendered look. I think it is that she isn't as saturated as the background elements. You could read something into that as well.

What's the story about?

Keep it coming.
