Hello
I am not usually posting that much here but I love this forum and these two are gonna be added on my site when I make the next site update, I thought I was gonna get some more feedback of these characters.
They were also posted on Sijun so maybe you have seen them there too.

These are pretty good. I really like the leopard girl. The biggest thing I can say is...Show more backgrounds with the characters. That castle is a good idea, but you need to separate the forground and backgound more. The only visual cue I see here is the difference in size of the torches in the forground compared to that next to the door. Some things you could do to give it more depth: Make the road get smaller as it goes back, this includes the texture on it as well. The texture of the trees is the same on the far ones as it is in the near ones. Diminish the size of the leaves as they go back. Same thing with the grass. The colors are a little too vibrant for a night-time picture. Keep these in mind when doing your next landscape, also look at pictures of landscapes and you'll see what I mean.

Nice work. I think Chromo is bang-on when he talks about depth. Maybe lower the saturation of colours as things get further back would also help. btw: If you are the same Mathew who posts on Sijun speedpaints I'm so impressed. I've watched your work for the last year or so and I think you've improved a ton- your dedication is really paying off :) Particularly the first illustration above:(fantastic hair) I really like the presentation of that one. Keep it up man :)
