I am thinking of investing my resources in applying to laguna. I want to do a lot of life-drawing and be challenged by my peers and my instructors. I am curious if anyone has been there, or konws someone and can offer any opinion good or bad.
Thanks!

Eury,
I am currently attending LCAD as a Feature Animation student. Laguna is extremely passionate about having every major involved with life drawing. Especially as an animation major, I have between 1 to 3 life drawing classes a year, if not more. There are free life drawing sessions 3 times a week at the school, so it's nice to have.
I know people who love and hate the school. Personally, I love it. But it's also what you make of it. There are about 300 students, so it's an extremely small campus. The location is amazing. It's set in a canyon beside hills and trees, with the beach less than a mile away. There are no dorms but there are apartments pretty close by.
The classes are small. I've had some with only 5 people, to 25. I haven't had any bad teachers. They are dedicated and seem to love what they teach. It's a pricey school, but all private art schools are.
I recommend it if you're looking for a small school which focuses on the figure in everything. Though the school offers Animation, Visual Development, Illustration, Fine Art and Graphic Design, their strong point is Illustration.
There are better animation schools. But it works for me. I live close by and didn't want to travel so it's ideal for my situation.

Thanks!
Do you know if any of the students have websites I could look at? Do you?
