Hey all, I was wondering what the difference between the two was, and also what the quality of education at each location was. I know there are a lot of threads about AIs, and a lot of them dont have much good to say. I couldn't find anything about these ones specifically though, and since AIs are all different, I was hoping that someone out there has had some experience with them, or at least knows the real scoop about them, not the bs some colleges tell you to make their programs look more appealing. I am already at Iowa State, for studio art, but I've been hearing some bad things about the program.

I was looking into learning about cg - modeling through animation - and I also wanted somewhere that has a good traditional arts program. Going to ringling or scad is out of the question, because I cannot go that far away. I know that school will not teach me everything, and I am willing to put forth the effort of practicing outside of schoolwork to learn more about the craft.

Also as a side note, my girlfriend was looking into interior design, so is anyone familiar with the quality of those types of programs at these institutions?

If anyone has some input, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The School of the Art institute has absolutely no connection to the various other Art Institutes. But I wouldn't recommend either for what you want. There are a bunch of threads about Midwest schools in this section, do a search.
