Fashion Institute of Technology Illustration Program

:blahblah: Hey, I'm transferring to this school in the fall. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Anyone go here at all? Anything? I just wanna know what I should expect. In case you wanna know, I've been already to at least two different schools (One focusing predominantly on Studio Art, the other on Digitial) and I don't want to enter into a state of shock which is why I'm here :) I'll be posting some art soon but first, answer this. Well, I plan getting my associates and then getting a BFA. I don't have enough credits for their 1 year Associates program because I'm still a freshman :/ so I didn't bother to even apply for that (And plus, I applied very late :) But I was looking at their programs and brochures and goodness, the classes they run there for the summer are especially fantastic (So far, I've done alot of transferring and I can't afford to transfer again, so this place is definitely going to be good for my next 4 years :), but you always want to learn more about these schools, So I was online reading up someone complain about FIT's Illustration program focusing too much on Fashion. But I dunno. I can't say personally that it's true. I hope it's not:nohope: . Eitherway, I wouldn't hate the idea of drawing fashion. I just want to draw<3 , period, lol :lens:

If you are good, then why not? I say "come one, come all". I got in, and I certainly wasn't expecting it...I can say there are many better artists who go to lesser known schools due to money and confidence...But they give up and don't look around.

:) Lol, good point. What's your major and what year/semester are you? Are you doing Game Design? Or anything Digital? And preferably, what region of the US do you live in? I'm just wondering what your situation is :)
