hey everybody!

i've been looking around the site for a few weeks now and i figured it's about time i started my very own sketchbook.

not only is your criticism welcome, i demand it of you!

Welcome to CA! You're going to need to post a bit more for detailed C&C but good start all the same. Anatomy is your bread and butter!

yeah i recommend you get yourself a lead pencil. usually .5mm thickness is good but i prefer .7mm cause i forget how hard i press. its sort of just for very specific lines that you know where they need to go........or just sharpen that pencil you use all the time

as for anatomy...lifedrawing is best but if you look on the web for mathematical equations to the human body you will find those....essentially its predictable to draw and if you can master your linework you can draw anyone *thumbs up*..

iMaiM - thanks, i've been goofing off a lot the last few days but ill definitely be posting a lot more soon.

ped454 - what type of graphite should i get? i think i used all 2b for that drawing, should i just pick a harder pencil for those lines?

just some more random sketchez. i'm really proud of the guy on the first page, drew him from imagination and the anatomy doesn't look too awful, except for that right arm.
