There are a few tutorials in the critique center.
how to start with sketching - mass production is important in the first stage.
Just start sketching with some anatomical guides/references (books, photo's,models, people in the park on a bench, someone who passed out,whatever...).
just use google to find some material to help. It isn't that difficult to find stuff, though buying a good book to study from won't hurt.
for example:http://drawsketch.about.com/cs/drawinglessons/a/drawingintro.htm
books: many pick up a book from andrew loomis or Burne Hogarth
Main idea of sketching - try to understand why things are shaped like that and try to translate it in your sketches. If your drawing things from imagination try to think what would work and what not and then try to put it on paper.

Mentler (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=26748&page=12) has posted a lot of info here about anatomy, proportions, planes and so on maybe looking at his material gives you an idea where to start.

If you're motivated and post your sketches frequently, some people here definitely will aid you in your quest to master sketching, drawing.

This is only one idea, the other one is joining a community activity like CHOW,COW,EOW,3CH, daily sketchgroup, peer project
