Hello. I'm seeking a good atelier in the Netherlands. There are lots of studios, but all of them only do some funny design (see attachment). I would like to take classical education, but until now, I haven't found anything worthy. I know, there are lots of people from the Netherlands here, maybe they posses some information.
Thanks.

Hi OdinUa, you should take a look in here: The Netherlands. (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=95420) I don't think there's any classical atelier here, but you could take a look at the various schools mentioned in that thread. It's all we got as far as I know :)

More precisely, it is a list of ARC-accredited ateliers, whatever that may be. I see 10 ateliers listed for Europe, and none of them is in The Netherlands, so this is not exactly encouraging for the original poster...

Mr. Eezak,
You are right, I thought I had remembered seeing one, but it was in Sweden. Yes, there are quite a few from Europe.
We go to other states for school, and this is a large country, perhaps he could go to another atelier in Europe. This, I am sorry was the best I knew of.
You are right, they are "ARC Approved", not accredited. However it would be hard to beat some of the artists teaching in these schools. Very few art schools have artists of this caliber teaching.
Do you have any other suggestions or links that would be more useful.

In Europe language may be a barrier, but it is worth the trouble to look further than just The Netherlands.

I think it's hard to find anything with a solid foundation which is geared towards areas like concept art, animation or illustration in The Netherlands.
I know of two schools which stress classical education, but these are more centered around autonomous art: the Wackers Academie in Amsterdam (http://www.wackersacademie.nl) and the Klassieke Academie in Groningen (http://www.klassieke-academie.nl)
