View Full Version : Iron maiden and Reaper

Here's some more designs from my DeamonGate universe. I got orks, elfs and other creatures too, but right now I'm working on the deamons.
'Iron maiden' (75ppi)
This is a stealth version of the Centurion. The armour is the same as on the centurion, except that it got a more slim look plus there's some more pointy things. The Iron maiden is usually female.
The pose is weird.

Reaper (75ppi)
Close combat deamon, inspired by the quake fiend. I want the face to be 'emotionless' so perhaps I should tone down/remove the nose and mouth. It's gorilla sized but very agile.

Centurions (75ppi)
Like in the other post, I just cleaned these up.

great stuff, i always look forward to your posts :)
the reaper looks very cool but you should definitely give him a face that is similar to the face of the old one... mucho scary..
will you color them?

That Reaper is sweet! I think it would help if you took out his mouth or made it less expressive. Maybe try making his eyes very round and small as well.

Yeah, I should probably skip all the facial features only leaving the round eyes. The reaper is more of an animal and has no need for facial expressions, except for the permanent eerie/observant/scary look.
Quick colors.

her leg and hand and blades on her back .. just had to say it - i have more faith in your skill than i should, meaning i am sure you would have taken care of it.
i cant use painter! not until i get a better computer .. and a wacom and stylus .. *pout&sigh* oh well, promethus will do enough work for him and me both .. replace that with something witty i just played chess for like 3 hours bugger off.

I always enjoy your work. That bot sketch series was sweet. (not that these aren't) Great simple color schemes.

Blank> Thanks, I enjoyed doing those!
Jaku> I'll try, I'm a little unfocused though, so right now I'm working on other projects...
Dan> Thanks!
Killing> I'm having trouble understanding your post....
sentient> The style thing just happens randomly sometimes. I'm trying to work more with the paintbrush in PS now (rather than the airbrush), cuz it has sharper edges.
maddog> nope, I'm a freelancer. I try to learn most styles though.
I'll see if I can finish some of these some day... Right now some other projects and work came in the way.
