hey hey, that didnt turn out too bad at all. The only comment of distraction I can make, there are two;
1. the orange line in the water to the left under teh coastline bends too fast off the canvas. It throws off the perspective of the water a bit as the water comes toward us.
2. The birds in the background are too light in value, and look like part of the water spots flying from his feet. It all blends together too much. Darken them and give them strong silhouettes and you cant go wrong.
Now, in all honesty, the anatomy of the figure could use some work, but for now I am going to be less critical of that, and more with the composition. nice job again, keep making images, and try to fuse the information you learned from one painting into the next one if you can...mileage is the key to intuitive technical thinking...

Bellas/ thanks man.
Fredflickstone/ :bow:
yeah the coastline was really hard for me. next time I will choose my camera view with much more care.
I can see that a couple of the muscles are a bit off, but am pretty satisfied with the result, still you are right, I need to be more precise especially when coloring.
Tomi (from the wip section)/ :thumbsup:
time to start a new one.

Pretty cool. I think there needs to be a lot more detail in the water splash. It looks too much like photoshop brush circles all over the place. Water would rarely be circular like that. I'd make smaller specs that streek out and spray around maybe.
