Hello everybody,

I am 15 years old and just getting into the whole art and drawing scheme, and I was told by a friend that this site would help me on my way so i figured I'd give it a shot. I saw this forum and figured I could start a sketchbook to get crits on my artwork as well as log my own progress and such...

I currently don't have a high resolution camera to take pictures of my drawings so I have to use a crappy scanner, so forgive the bad quality.

These are some old sketches that I drew and had scanned in a while ago just to get this sketchbook started, I'll be scanning some more recent ones in later.

Here's a good sized update, I've scanned in pretty much everything from my sketchbook.

Keep in mind I usually start with a lot of inspiration and halfway through lose it and either rush it or give up. I also have a very bad habit of getting caught up with details, which I am currently working on, and I don't sharpen my pencil very often because I get caught up in whatever I'm doing which is another habit that I am trying to fix.

Two "vikings" fighting in the snow... I know the anatomy and perspective are pretty much f***ed on this one, but I was it was a very quick and messy sketch and i was in a bad mood so i didn't take any time to lay it out:

A Gondola of Venice... pretty crap in general, got caught up in details, didn't plan anything out so perspective and lines are screwed, but there you go... lost inspiration halfway through and stopped, never bothered to try and finish:
