Ok here's my version of a berserker , I've been usuing an A4 'trust tablet'. Crits, tips , suggestions anything to make me improve will be a great help to me, thanks. I have a funny feeling it's to do with bad propotions / anatomy again, but post what you feel. Took me a good 3 hours to draw, it's very hard with this tablet the accuracy is very poor (canvas on photoshop used 800/2000 pxls.) I am gonna paint this too so anything with that would be a help but as you see even with it rendered it will look plain , any suggestions on anything else that should be in the painting, scenary, weapons , anything you think will suit the render. Thanks...

I shrink it down a bit so you can see it better.

I have a feeling it's the propotion of the legs :S

If the proposions are wrong I know it can be a hassle but maybe someone can edit a reference like put red lines were it should be etc , thanks again..

You want paintovers? you got paintovers...

See how everything should be pretty evenly spaced? There's some rule of thumb like "the body is eight heads high", btw..

So, with your berserker, the torso was too long, and the arms were, too... which kinda threw everything off...

I recommend you a) find yourself some anatomy books (I hear good things about Loomis and Hogarth)... b) leave yourself more room on the page for feet :-P... and c) draw from life!!!

Hope this is helpful :)

Thanks I appreciate your helpfulness, I think I'll stick with what you said and follow your paintover to get a more realisitic and nice looking berserker so I can paint over it :)

And I was trying to figure out how far arms go down and mine almost reach my knees xD(without finger strech)

I realised it looks more like a defomed zombie :D thanks again

Go to the library and check out a few books by Andrew Loomis and Burne Hogarth....primarily the anatomy books.

Btw....did you install the drivers for your tablet? That could very well be why its accuracy is off.

I have no drivers for it, no disk . So maybe yes :S
