I realize that there are a few lighting inconsistencies among other things, but I think it works well as is, so I'm calling it done. ;)
Let me know your thoughts. :)

Not bad at all. couple of things. Theres an anatomy problem with her boob or maybe its a shadow problem. And the other thing Im spotting is that the horsehead jack in the box is getting lost. Its too much in line with her leg.

IM not gonna say anything bad about this cause for some strange reason it reminds me of Parrish's work and he is my favorite artist.
This is bad ass as shit. Do you like Maxfield Parrish?

This is really a very well rendered picture. I dig the content also. The first problem I noticed was the color of the fire reflecting off of the characters, I think certain areas could use a more golden/yellow hue. Everything just seems really red (I know... its hell). The second is the intensity of the flames coming through the cracks; there are a lot of bright spots to look at, kind of tiring to the eye, maybe tone them down and keep the focus more on the pentagram. On a compositional note, the position of the jack in the box against the angel (naughty girl) throws things off a bit and doesn't showcase her sexy pose enough (her leg). Hope I helped some, this pic is sick (in a good way) and is really fine how it is.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions folks. :)
I think I'm going to tinker with the lighting a bit more on this one before I finally call it "finished".
The position of the skeleton dude has been a problem for me sine I first started painting the piece...
I don't want to move him to the left because I don't want him to block any part of the spanking demon and I don't want to move him more to the right because I don't want him to cover her boob. So, I'm not sure where I want to put him...
Not only that, but all the characters are on the same layer, so moving him will be a bit difficult and I'll have to paint the rest of her leg. But that's probably what I'll end up doing.
I'll have to put some more thought into it...
Thanks again for the feedback. :)

Nice athmosphere and i like the pig-guy on the right.
My only crit would be the base of the wings of the central figure is a bit strange. Doesn't seem to grow out of the back properly....
Also the jack-in-the-box guy with the horse head (did we see that one in pencil somewhere?) might win something if it got separated a little more from the central figure either in saturation/contrast or in position since it gets lost a little.
But i really like it - gutsy colors and nice piece!

hi liquidwerx ,
I remember seeing some sketches of it a while ago. Great to see it finished!
I really like the way you rendered the fire, and the forest in the bg.
but there are so many other good things going for this picture. The single deamons have a lot of personality, and all are different from eachother.
if there was something I think could be improved, it is the angels wings. they feel a bit to small and stiff. but still cudos on this one!

Hey everyone, thanks for all the feedback. :)
Made some lighting and color fixes... Added some cooler blue hues into the shadows and some brighter yellows/golds in the brightly lit areas. I also redid the fire so it wasn't so spotty and white. Hopefully the changes will prove to help separate the characters while still making them cohesive with the background.
I agree with the comments that the skeleton-in-a-box could use to be moved away from her leg a little bit. But all the characters are on the same layer and I just don't have the time to go in and repaint that much of the piece right now, or any time soon. So, hopefully it works well this way...

killer! ( no pun intended )
The yellow on the figures really helps to pull the image together.
How about some carbonized rock and ash in the cracks of the pentagram. I thought it might knock back the darker areas of flame a bit and also serve to pull the eye around the bottom of the composition.
The wings on her back nedd some more structure in the shawdows to marry them better to the figure.
Those are my thoughts, humblely offered.

Whoa. This is something completely different. I thnk the placement of the skull-in-the-box is a little distracting, and is interfering with the placement of the woman's leg, but otherwise this is a really great, and weird piece!
