Google marches on in their quest to map the entire globe down to the tiniest detail. Now the world can peek in your window!

So far it's just a few cities, but I'm having fun jumping around San Francisco and finding all the sites I visited at the last workshop.

So...was there an army of Google cameramen taking 360 degree photos every few inches of every street in San Francisco? How did they do this?

As far as I know, they stuck a bunch of automated cameras on top of a van and drove down pretty every street in the city taking pictures every few feet.

Admit, how many times have you been looking for something in your house and saying to yourself "I wish I could google this".

That's cool though. These guys are ambitious.
