PLEASE give me some input if you have any thoughts at all about the pieces.

these are three settings which i have painted without any story or real purpose. mostly to evoke a sense of space. i'm not sure how far i want to take them though they almost inspire me to come up with some story and characters.

I love the top one. It's the spitting image of the Slickrock canyonlands in Utah.

my cents:

cool study of atmosherics.
i think you went too light on the trees. unless you wanted to imply there was overcast sunlight cast on the leaves near the top (lightest bluegreen)

i think the figures are too dark. unless they are suppose to be in dark robes.

i feel the foreground looks very flat, you should add some planes of depth behind the black silloutted foliage. i would suggest adding some color to the foreground will help bring the piece together, unless intended otherwise.

I'm really feeling the atmosphere in the first two, but I think the third one needs some tightening up. But I really like the first one. It's a temple carved out of a cave wall, right? Ooh, you know what might be cool? Make that one an underwater scene! Like an ancient temple that's been buried at the bottom of the ocean.

the second one with the darkbuilding: the building looks more like a furnace, than a window. the glow is really strong from the windows.~ beautiful work, wish i could do the same~
