I have searched for a picture, craving or a drawing of what a blood eagle would look like but I found nothing.

I imagine they would have been crude pictures resembling a bird.
After all, the people who carved them into the backs of the victims would have been barbarians, not tattoo artists.

In that article it points out this torture ritual could be a total work of fiction.
