Remember me? Probrably not. x3; Well this is my second post here asking for help on another horse- a friesian like this oddly enough...

So yes, this is for coloring help. I don't make a habit of painting over my artwork, so obviously I don't know what I'm doing. So far all I've been doing is going over the body in low opacity back and forth (no smudging thus far) and.... I'm kind of stuck, I don't know where I'm going with this.

So I'm open to anything regarding coloring this, including scrapping this version and starting all over again. Most of all I'd appreciate help in the form of redlines (or just circling things on the picture in general, seeing as at times I'm frustratingly unable to grasp concepts when simply spoken to about them).

Picture itself:

As a note, I haven't gotten to the hooves yet.

Hm, as I see it, you already have a solid lightsource - from above. This would shape out the horse rather nicely - how about some warm colors, red with a violet tint?

In specific parts or just where ever the light hits? o.o

Might be my monitor, but I can hardly see the highlights.
I also think you should specify your light source a little more.
Also, whats bothering me is that the right front leg is lower than the left leg behind.
Horses can be a pain to do, I think it came out rather nicely. Might do a paintover, dinner now ;|
