commute time and the madness in mind

hello all

Often i take the train into nyc and my commute is a mere 15 mins each way . but in that 15 mins i tend to immerse myself in a blank page and with a ball point pen go from there,, a total 30 mins a day often has be do alot in that short time
i am sharing with u peeps one of these drawing , one of many i will be posting.

ill usually start off with just a central line and where it goes no one knows . i was doing some concept work for a course of weeks and i suppose all the material just wouldnt leave me ole head .
here on the east coast(nyc) commute by train is common , id like to see what others do with their bit of travel or down time .

Very cool stuff.

Had 20 minute commute and did this on my laptop. Wanted to try to do a wood cut looking image

I basically drew it at the size you see.

I use to do wood cuts back in high school so I used the same technique. I filled the image with black then took the pencil tool and began removing it with 1-5 pxl pencil sizes.

After I finished that I went back and cleaned it up and added the border with black.

It was a fun experiment. I might do another if I get the chance.

:thumbsup: as always...everything you do is amazing! my 'doodles' are far more simple, i hope that someday i can creatively express myself as extremely well as you do...i have a lot of jumbled up ideas in my head, suppose i need to let them out - i'm trying...i can only imagine what 'inside your head' looks like...i am guessing it's a pretty busy place! ;) you must share more please!!!
