What a treasure trove, the Chinese were making beautitiful arts, crafts and poetry when the Europeans were living in mud huts. They are a fabulous source of inspiration for me. Study Asian art for color and design. They were masters of both.

Below is a painting I did with a hand-embroidered 100 year old Chinese tapestry behind the figure. I used the color from that and had a costume made to coordinate.
