I can't redraw my art. I just can't reproduce my own art, whether it's drawing a thumbnail on a new page but bigger, redrawing some graffiti, or drawing model sheets of characters.

I'm open to suggestions.

I know i can just as easily scan, resize and print out my stuff with photoshop, but i'm trying to teach myself to do it by hand.

I've taken life drawing classes, and i have a decent eye for relative geometry and proportions, so... it's not the eye-brain-hand coordination, it's just that i can't re-do stuff...

Any suggestions? i've tried drawing simple stuff over and over again, i've tried flipping the pics upside down and drawing that way as to focus more on the shapes than the subject, i've tried drawing all views of a character at the same time, as opposed to drawing one, finishing it, then moving onto the next, i've tried a lot of stuff and it's just not working. hell, i've even done the grid thing.

-edit-

alright, i get the message... figure it out myself. i'll do that. thanks for your help, as always, it's much appreciated. i'll at least be courteous enough not to bump this up to the top, ok?

you want to reproduce your art using the exact same media?

besides putting a clear grid over your piece and then putting a grid on another piece and trying that way i don't think you can, unless you use a method like printing(not computer printing).

Thanks for the replies, and i'll keep at it, i'll see if i can figure out a way to do what i'm trying to do. if i find a way that works, you'll be the first to know! ...er... second.
