Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design

Alrighty, Ive decided that perhaps its time to move from traditional life drawing (Fine Arts) to a traditional illustration degree. So far Im deciding between the Academy of Art and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, neither of which I know a ton about. They both offer illustration degrees which involve mainly traditional skills but some digital skills and most importantly visual language and illustrating stories, which life drawing degrees (so far) lack. I cannot leave Colorado and would have to take the AAU degree online. I question both of these schools and there transferability and accredation and even more so wonder if it would benefit me more to just stay in life drawing and find some books on advanced illustration or something (btw if anyone has suggestions for good educational books I will love you for letting me know). Any advice? Both these schools are incredibly expensive, hopefully for a good reason.

but more importantly, (and sorry if this is totally off subject) but where abouts in CO are you? I'm in Ft. Carson/CO Springs and if you're near and interested maybe we could get coffee and sketch sometime.

back to your topic though, have you tried running a search of these forums for either of those schools? Somebody may already have started a thread with some good info. I dunno though.
