Cd cover Art Design

This is my First time Posting in This Forum and I wish like to say:
Good Work, Brilliant Images. I love Art,,, So, here I am !

The Second reason that bring me in to post is because I need collaboration
from some Artist for design cd covers.
THIS IS NOT A JOB !
If it was, I will posted in a different message board.
This is :
Trance Moon Radio Broadcast, is a promoter of Trance Music exp:
(Producers, DJs, Record Labels, Music Distributors, Art & Trance Community's)

My next step is to set up a Promos Recording Label. This is to help Un-sign Artists to Have some of they're Music Broadcast and distributed for promotion.
At the moment this is just a project but already start to be desenvolve since last year.
The first edition was last year, but the cover design was really bad !
(I am an Artist but not in this area).(A really try hard !)
And so... that is my problem.

Trance Moon is an independent Radio,Commercial Free and I dont get any money with this .

What I try to do, is to get some Artist , interested in make part of this project
but with free open mind and not thinking in money, but more in a promotion for the works offer to Trance Moon Recording in designing covers and inlays or send me the images for I can elaborate the final work.
This is not a weekly or monthly job and all depends of your time and afford for make designs.

You will be promoted in Trance Moon Members page, Named for cover design in cds,news letter, web site, members page, myspace ,Tribes Blog and you will start to make part of Trance Moon Community Promotion .
(Plus... 1 Original copy of the cd after ready)

THIS IS A PROMOTION EN-CHANGE.
The cds will be sold just in our web site or the Artists web site.
(Cd is sell for 5.00 pounds just to pay the costs of Printing , Ink & cover paper)
This Cds are made in small editions and the money don't pay me the time and material I spend in making all the Covers paper, Printing Cds & inlay.
My reward is to have more and more people together and helping each other in the same open mind spirit, bringing all into a community of People .

I have planes for later in this year, this Promo cds Recording, start to work for real as a limited pressing Promo cds for new Artists. With time and some effort, if all start to go fine... Maybe you will be a payed cover designer for Trance Moon (I wish this to Happen too .)
Cooperation is the main word at the moment.

Well... I gonna wait for some answer from you people.
I know this big text dont bring all the information you may need
but I will be aware of this post to answer all the questions and make new Friends.

Hello My Friend.
Sorry for just answer now but I am a bit running with plans for summer.
How are you ?
I been see your gallery (Killer !).
But I think , that is too much blood for what I looking for.
Now... I been read around and I can understand, you like challengers.
I like challenges too ! and I wish like know if you can draw or paint
psychedelic images. Here, I dont mean just Colorfully images but Dark Psychedelic. This means all what your imagination can bring up.

Thing is simple, I send you a file in mp3 with the music (promo) and after you listen you can have the picture of what you want to do.
I like the monster images you do and the colors you did, in your first works are really psychedelic but the draw don't go in so much colors.
Sorry to talk about this, but I strongly believe this :
I constructive criticism can be more helpfully then a cheers !
unless for me, was the way I get my work so perfect at this moment of my life. (I do Handcraft Jewelery in silver/ Tribal jewelery not the posh on)

Back to start... I have a cd to come out from Jesus Raves, we likes to have some chaos or destruction in the cover. He send me some photos from (Quebec) where is living bit the photos was from the web, so, I didnt accept !
I took some photos from a scrapyard on dark time of the day and I was thinking in use this as image for cover .
For shore I will be more happy to have the cover of the cd design by an Artist like you.

Just send me an mp3 and we'll see what I can come up with. I would like a different challange like this to try myself...And I'm experimenting with different styles too. Trance is not really my kind of music. I'm more of a rocker myself...and a musician as well.
Lets do one for starters. If you like you can use it and we'll discuss the matter further.

Hmm, I was just jumping on few trance parties, not listening it at home much, so I am not sure if I get that "dark trance" thing well... However, hope the music'll explain it.

I like the idea of you make the all cover design and
I will keep that for later !

At this moment I am still Organizing things and hope end of this year,
I will need that work.
For now, I have this first edition out and start to get distributed
to other shops.
I been try to get the design for the covers from the Artists but the problem is that, they are not design Artists and covers can look very primary.

I have to say, that I will be happy to have more than 1 person making the designs because each one have a different style and the Music in CDs are Trance, but in many sound styles too. Some more colorfully then others.

I will come back to the forum for sure and I will keep your email address.

this sounds like an interesting project, i was just wandering what sort of images you were lokking for? image based like the old death metal approach, or pattern based like the usual goa trance style? is there a name to this jesus raves promo? as i find with book jackets a heading can speak a thousand words, and can also give a much better idea as to where the image should gear towards, then theres less time waisting on pointless options. if you have any ideas yourself, how you would like the image to be, maybe you could post it here, even if its a very simple rough, stick figure men etc... no need for quality, only a very basic concept, just to get the ball rolling.

I can not send you an image without having the music to give me the vision !
The CD of Shivaz Project is out now and the cover was made by and Ukraine Artist: Kartsev Alexander .

The Next CD was to be Jesus Raves, but After I been notice the interest of this Artist not be the most enthusiastic, I desire to stop with any work from hem.
(I can not promote some one Anti-social with no interest in what the others can make to help. It was not help hem self ,why I will do ? Music was fine but interest in make something to happen, was nun !

I should not talk about this here... Maybe, the Next CD will be by shri yantra.
If will happen ,will be in September or October. This Artist , I think, Have the Art work from some one for cover design. If don't, I will contact you guys for shore.

But from September / October, the Record Label will stat to work full one, At that time, I will run here for shore !
