Hey! I think this forum is a very good chance to improve my skills and make better drawings. So I choosed some of my sketches I made during the last days. I want to study illustration/Design and I hope I have the time to post some new stuff every week. So please let me hear what I can do better.

all I can say is that you're on the right track. work on anatomy, form, lighting, design, and everything. but best one at the time. you are ready to go out in any direction from here. you also seem to work quite small, or maybe you just use big pencils. tighten your lines a bit up. work longer on one piece and take your time. and soften your rendering. and draw from life and reference a lot. especially that last part. draw a lot.
I'm not good at explaining, so if something is not clear, pm me or something.
edit: oh and have fun! welcome on CA!

Hey! Inspired by Solons great work, I tried to use watercolors in the way he did. The woman is a celebrity, maybe someone can figure out who it is.

Thank you Ped454!
Today I made a new one, it was a lot of fun to do it, the colour mix is not the best but I work on it. It is taken from a ref photography, I made a pencil drawing a few years ago, but see for yourselves.

Some drawings inspired by a shell statue from brazil standing on my table. I think that statue could give me inspiration for millions of sketches, I love the structures and shapes.

Hey!
@AmontilladoAg: I really love to try out different styles. maybe it is because I have no own style, and I try to find one for myself=)
@pencil1:I think I will make a few more drawings of that shell thing, as long as it brings fun to me, nothing can stop me=)
but first a few digital ones. they are a few months old, and I made them with my mouse. I really should buy a graphictableau. But I really don't know which one. What do you use? and what size do you prefer?
