I seriously would never guessed it would be the Joker if it wasn't for the title.

it looks cool, not sure about overly done lipstick, no sign of hair, quite mysterious for now.

I still keep an open mind for this

i think it looks freaking sweet. a much more sinister and insane look to a classic character. im much more interested in how he acts as opposed to how he looks tho. thats just me tho.

i agree, looks totally sick. realy shows the physico look in a more realistic and threating way. less about the laugh and more about the eyes as they say. The character development will be great :clown:

As puzzled as I am about Heath Ledger being Joker, I do have to say that he has the Joker grin. Not in this shot, but watch one of his movies (I know 10 Things I Hate About You has it) and you'll see it.

A chap from another forum thinks the new Joker may have something called a "Chelsea grin." Pretty nasty description so don't read below while you're eating. If this is true, the next film is going to be quite dark indeed.

I still don't know about Heath... I was watching Oz and thought man Timmy Kirk would be perfect, he is just so cold and menacing going between icy cool and maniac which is what always imagined the Joker would be, I don't see the Joker as been out and out nuts, he swings between moods.

but as a fan boy of both Nolan's films and the darker Batman comics I can't wait.

i personally think mark hamill should play the joker...i'd consider him more of the joker than mr. nicholson, he always seemed too beefy and too jack nicholson for my tastes.

that would be awesome. Especially since he did the voice for Joker in the animated series. But I think they are going for a younger Gotham in this movie batch.
