Hey all~

I'm interested in going back to school in the Fall or Spring and have narrowed down my school choices to Cogswell Polytechnical College's Digital Art and Animation program specializing in Modeling, Expression College's Animation and Visual Effects major, or Academy of Art's School of Animation and Visual Effects. I'm hoping to eventually do concept designs for video games or films (particularly games though) and be able to take those ideas and make them 3D. I'm also interested in taking other people's ideas and making them 3D ;) I'm not as keen on animation at this point. I visited Cogswell the other day and was really impressed by how warm and welcoming everyone I met was as well as the quality of the student work, facilities, networking possibilities, and alumni placement. They also have an internship program and game design club that seemed awesome.

After the visit Cogswell is definitely at the top of my list (I'm still planning on visiting the other two to be sure though) but I was wondering if any of you had any insights on any of the schools or programs either positive or negative, through others or personal opinions. Are any of you attending/have any of you attended one of the schools? I've seen some comments on previous posts in the forums but would love to hear more. Thanks in advance for any help!
