This is some incredibly interesting stuff here. It's always refreshing to find someone who has genuine opinions even if they aren't always correct or sometimes even absurd. I love reading this guy's posts on how cartoons have changed over the years and how a certain creativity has just died out of them. After seeing hundreds of examples I am starting to see how he got to thinking that way.

My favorite posts of his are on Disney and that great little Doberman Pincer gag one.

oh hell yeah - the john k blog is really nice. i also found this (http://www.bigblownbaby.com/portfolio.html) site and blog (http://williamwray.blogspot.com/) of william wray who did some work (backgrounds mostly?) on the ren and stimpy show.
perhaps not as opinionated but check out his portfolio versus his paintings.
