Hey, I'm new here. I've posted infrequently at the Team GT board at www.conceptdesignforum.com, but I somehow never knew of this place till the other day. Anyway, my name is Alex and I'm a 17 year old bum who dropped out of highschool so he could start college earlier. Majoring in graphic design (but not paying any attention to school.) Also an amateur game designer. Member of a mod team known as the "Redeemed Assassins." We develop a game called "The Opera," based on Hong Kong heroic bloodshed flicks and such. I'm a skinner/texture artist, but I've been drawing since birth.
Anyway, enough rambling. Heres a sketch I posted at the TeamGT board a few days ago. This is an illustration of the character from which my internet handle is taken, Mark Li. Hong Kong assassin guy, etc. Not gonna get into his background. I'll cut/paste my comments from the TeamGT board here:
"His proportions seems to scale upwards as you go down from his neck. His feet are abnormally large and the shape of his shoes is bizarre, not to mention undetailed. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this.
Comments encouraged. Crits are also welcome, though I won't be modifying it anymore...I'll keep them in mind for my next piece, however."
