You mean how to construct hands?
You should just use reference as long as you are learning.
I just don't get why people keep asking for certain techniques ... !?

It'd be a good idea trying to learn the anatomy of the hand as well as reference pictures. Tutorials can help, but your best doing it from reference to learn first.

I suppose the "technique" that I used to LEARN to draw the hand was:

I drew my hand constantly, everywhere that I could. At work, on the phone, during lectures, in restaraunts, wherever, whenever and on whatever I could. I even recall drawing my hand on the sidewalk in sidewalk chalk with my nieces.

I started simple and then moved to more interesting "poses", eventually I would draw my hand in what I thought would be the most difficult way to draw it.

What this did for me was most importantly, it made me comfortable drawing hands. I no longer feel any apprehension when it comes to attempting to draw hands, which helps me to open up my mind and relax a bit more. I still have a lot to learn (always will), but I can approach hand drawing with a certain degree of comfort, now to work on the rest of the body... I went from apprehension about drawing hands to loving it, to craving the challenge, and I think that is the point where I really open myself up to learning and exploring more.

Just one persons way, as everyones is different, and we all learn differently.

Hope your search is successful :)
