probably the longest i've spent on a rendered piece so far, roughly around 10 hours (maybe less) in evening sessions. enjoyed it though, and i think i learned quite some. (yes,it's probably alittle too dark)
c&c welcome,hope you enjoy.

15 hours seems overly long, and the rendering makes it look a bit hairy, but the character is cool and has a real expression.

Nice drawing. Looks like an achatz thingy from DSA. The details on the muscles get lost a bit in the darkness.

Carni, the loose sketchy lines are my favorite!! Keep fighting the good fight.

i know not all dragons have scales, but some scales would help push this a bit further. the whole thing need not be covered, but some well placed protection would benefit this creature.

short reply to some comments:
black fish - i'm not sure about the time myself,i didn't check. i'm guessing around 2-3 hours per evening though, and it took me bout 5 evenings. thanks though.
jushra - i was thinking more like a crocodile, leathery type of skin. i'll keep the suggestion in mind for future creatures though, thanks.
everyone else so far, thank you for your insight :)
