So I think my goal is to upload at least once a day. Yeah. Which essentially means drawing once a day. Ha! Trying to actually be good by the time I end up in college. Whenever that is. Hopefully this fall.
Study of a chair, sketch of my boyfriend (he's a very patient model), self portrait, and some quick 3 minute gestures.

Tonight's update: a bit of lineart! Yaaay...

Pretty good start, one thing that's off is your boyfriends forehead looks too big, and his head looks too small for those shoulders. I like your self portrait though, and the cute swirly clouds in the last one.

28chelseaslater, thanks! :3 Though he really does just have a hugenormous forehead, and uh, head in general, I think you're right. And extra thank you about those clouds! I never seem to get those right, I'm glad to hear they turned out well in that one...
(To be updated with actual arts this evening.)

And after a million years, an update. A WIP version of a comic. It needs new toning. And inking. And text. ...It just needs lots of work, period.

My first digital works! A doodle to get the feel of the program, and a semi-boring illustration of the main character of the comic (shown above).

Another digital work. : x It's not so great, either, but I'm practicing! And trying to find a coloring style that works for me. Those first two didn't feel quite right... This is closer. Still not "there", but closer!

Lots of new things. An animated doodle icon, proof that I can't do colors worth crap (now with more manface) and some more. Not goodness. Arrgh the poisonous blarglhdksf.

Hi-hi!
You have a really neat style going on here...I think my favorite is the comic page (geez, I'm a sucker for comics)...
But onwards! I think you should definitely draw more from life--your self-portrait was the best of them, I think. However, it could use more value in shading. Try to study the way the light falls on your collarbones, torso and arms; right now, the torso and arm seem to be very chunky and flat.
Keep on working girlie! :D It's lookin' good.

I especially like the way you draw faces. Most useful things have already been said, but I agree that drawing from life more is always good. I ought to follow that advice myself.

More comics, then! :3 Actually just a panel.

There's a lot of cool stuff here. I'll be honest, usually I'm not a big fan of it unless it's got sharp edges and really makes me wonder where the hell whatever it is came from. This has a very fun style to it, though. I see a lot of potential, and look forward to seeing how you progress and evolve and keep going.
...you will keep going, right?
PieXags will be back.

BIGNORMOUS MASSIVE SKETCH DUMP. Haha. Some stuff from ongoing comic project, and doodles related to a doujinshi (fancomic) project I'm doing to blow off steam. It's a steampunk version of Sailor Moon--it's been really a lot of fun and much harder than I thought it would be. :3

Aww Spaz I totally would if I hadn't stopped writing this one. I have another one though that I'll post soon-- this one is on hiatus because it's REALLY LONG and I want to do it when I'll be able to express what I want better. It's a pet project.
I DO HAVE SOME NEW STUFF THOUGH. I've been trying to use CG better, eheh. Still got a long way to go though.

I like what I see so far, and don't be afraid to try something different.

Thanks! I am doing different stuff but it's just not very good, haha. I'll be posting it when I take the pictures, I'm kind of scannerless atm. I'm waiting to have some more life drawing and suchforth... I like to upload that stuff all in a big batch as opposed to my "fun for me" stuff.
Here's another comic page! It is actually page 2 of my current project but I wanted to upload a page I hadn't finished yet. This is after cleaning up the inks, but before adding text, tones, etc. :3

Just something I finished recently. I watched part of a panel done by Amy Reeder Hadley, and I think it's really helped me to be able to draw people looking UP. This was something I could never master but the way she describes it really makes sense. Though looking at it now it's not really as "up" as I intended, haha. Still it helped.

Thanks! Digital coloring is really hard, haha. I've got a new depth of respect for people who can do it really well.

Sketchdump! Sorry it's made of poorly cobbled together photographs. :B

I like the way yoour stuff flirts with anime yet still has its own voice and flow (good lines), but it bugs me a little when eyes start wandering around in the face. I'd pay some more attention to the facial construction, it's a shame to have neat art like this brought down by silly little mistakes like that.
