Company Background
Play Learn Achieve LLC works with companies by providing seminars that enhance management and leadership skills, team building and career development. Michele Mamet leads participants through exercises that stimulate creative thinking and form action plans that have a direct link to the bottom line - using comic books and other creative tools.
Project Description
Artist will create 4 full pages of comic book-style illustration to enhance what is otherwise a “blank” comic book.
Artists interested in this work can receive a mockup of the comic book as drafted in Comic Life for Mac on request.
Design Requirements
All illustrations must have a retro comic book look and feel. 1960’s and 70’s era Marvel-style illustration.
Cover page – primary image is that of a gender-neutral, ethnically-neutral character (human), viewed from behind, dressed as comic book hero hunched over illustrator’s desk, illustrating life story. Title of this page is “The Journey of ________[where blank line is large enough to accommodate write-in of person’s name]: My Comic Book Life”. This cover page can include additional detail to enhance “authentic” comic book look and feel, such as price, teaser banner, logo, etc.
Chapter pages – character depicted on cover in generic situation that thematically agrees with chapter title. (Character must still appear gender- and ethnically-neutral when facing forward).
Chapter One: Leaving What I Know Behind Me
Chapter Two: My Initiation
Chapter Three: The Triumphant Return
Deliverables/Format
2 initial illustration concepts for each page. 1 final version of all 4 pages in high quality digital format saved onto a CD, as well as the original art work in hard copy.
Timeline
