Hi there Unit,
since you are a newbie here (welcome to CA where leads and oils flow) I'll be glad to show you crits the CA way
while the very green and the very red pic are a bit doodleish to comment and crit on properly I'll just crit the rest

138527
quite a lot of changes to the anatomy and the headsize has changed too
watch out for the legs too

138528
only a quick head resize and a not so pointy elbow
look at the joints, draw joints from life (like your own ones) a lot

practice is the key to success

Hey man, how could you ever consider your work boring? I love this stuff! The bot looks simple but it's cool, I need to get drawing I slacked a little the past few days.

Hello Unit, welcome to CA, good start to your sb. have a few questions for you. Do you draw with real mediums. I think its great that your jumping into the digital realm, but I think you need to pick up the pencil and explore in that realm. From the looks at your humonoid mech and human characters, there seems to be some anatomy issues. You need to complete all the way down to the foot, a least a rough idea of the feet. Remember practice really helps you understand the area that you need to work on, thats the challenge, I need to keep telling myself that also.

In the last digi, look at the legs of the bot. Their bowed inwards making the pose look extremely awkward. IMO, the feet should be facing outward a bit more, making the pose look more natural. Try to make your bot faces more complex, it doesn't have to be humanoid with eyes and noses, but try to capture your viewers attention to the head of your robots. Welcome to CA.

I see you've been industriously drawing
with ink too :)

you know that the head in the last one is prett small compared to the helmet construction?
try to go for some shadeing with ink to create more depth (hatching is the way here / or you mix ink with water and use a brush, experiment a bit)

the robot is cool, remember to make them look the same on both sides If you understand what I mean :S
(this was what I thought when seeing the "belly")

That robot is really ncie, it really looks like its made outa steel. Also i like how some of the parts are unfinnished and some are finnished. But thats just for now i suppose.

the outfit looks cool and pose is good to
but look at the eyes, you can't be seriouse :/
they are too far away from each other and make the whole pic look akward

remember that the face is the number 1 focus point of a pic as soon as a human figure appears in it!

I ran into you on Sketcher this morning. I think you said you've been drawing for like a year? What a jerk! Where do you get off being so good in only a year?! I don't have a lot of specifics to add -- just keep doing what you're doing, because it's obviously working.

Hey there, thanks for stopping by my book. Maybe if you introduced some yellow into the redbot it would make it look a bit more sleek. Hue variations can really pump up interest in a painting.

hey there unit

on atmorpheric perspective: in general, things that are closer to the viewer tend to be/have more vivid colors, and darker darks.. so stuff more in the background should be desaturated and have less contrast. this helps a *lot* to convey a good sense of depth. don't be afraid to overdo this.. your job is to help the viewer to "read" the image the way you want it!

keep it up + post more!
