Do you mean you're in 3rd grade or you teach a 3rd grade class?

Well...it looks like someone is going to be following in their dad's footsteps!!! Nice job with the color variations on the knight's armor, I see a little purple mixed in there. Man...looks like that dragon is gettin' ready to make our hero one very crispy critter! LOL!

Great job! I'm sure your class will be very impressed! :D

Hey, that's cool, a father and his son posting images in one community!

Great you've done this step cotie-clan :)

As i can see you aren't averse to the subjects of your daddy's images.

I can remember one image mcotie posted in an older thread, where a knight fights against a red dragon...was this your inspiration source? I remember this, because mcotie made another pic, where the knight was defeated by the dragon, as I made this proposal after seeing the original one...

The colorscheme reminds me of this image too, as far as i can remember...

Enough bad english...don't take a leaf of my book...

Hey, this is awesome. I wish I was that good in 3rd grade. It's so cool that mitch is teaching you. You get to learn all kinds of important stuff at your age and by the time you graduate high school in 9 years you'll be unbelievable!:clapping2 :clapping2 :clapping2

thank you,

fozzybar, the picture you are thinking of is the one with the angel fighting the demon. my goal is to be beteter then my dad, but he says dream on. Ha, Ha.
my dad posed like the knight , and stuck a desk lamp under him so i could see were to draw the light. this is the first time i got to use the wacom tablet. i could have used crayons and markers, but i just wanted to use the tablet. i learned a lot doing this picture, like were to put the light sorces and stuff.

Wow Kcotie!! I go to school with you're dad.I met you in the animation room. I'm sure at the level you're on right now people we'll look up to you some day. Be sure to not draw in class too much we don't want the teachers taking them up before you can show them to us. You clearly have concept art flowing through your veins.:)
The force is strong within this one Mitch.

Third grade? Well, everyone else already said it, but this is GREAT work for for a third grader, a sixth grader, a freshman in highschool. Hey, there are a few people in my college level illustration class you could teach a thing or two... keep it up!

I love it when people dig up posts that are a year and a half old. ;)

Seriously though...I'm actually glad in this case...Senior Cotie...yer kid's on fire. So, a year and a half later, I wonder if the art bug is still biting him. If so, I'd love to see some of his recent stuff. :)
