My dad was a 40-year veteran of IBM. In fact, I think he was on the team that developed the XT way back when (the first PC I ever used). We had the same thing, only in reverse.

As far as Mac or PC? Fuck 'em both. Gimme a hopped-up little SGI box any day.

I was never able to decide which I like better so I just keep a Windows PC and a Mac hooked up to a KVM for whatever mood I happen to be in :)

Actually it's really because I have some software on the Mac that I don't have for the PC and vice-versa, so I frequently use both machines.
