I was inspired by the recent posts. Had to paint something before that motivation goes off.

thanks MindCandyMan, I'm trying to keep things lose now. Perhaps this will be a good start because I'm the type whose too eager to paint in all the details.

Damn!

Now you're talking. It's all about the looseness man, I love this. It's so messy( in a good way of course) and raw. Just fabulous!

Man, this new one rocks. Only thing is, that i think the left chess is a bit smaller than the other one, could be just me.

It's great though. Keep it going.

haiku, I wasn't very certain about some of the anatomical issues. Thanks for pointing out.

These paintings are so good...the use of color is balanced. But in the second one there are some anatomic issues, like the neck and the head is on the wrong place...but otherwise that's a good painting too..keep it up

I think the anatomy is good, I mean it is this giant warrior in ShawnYe's mind, I think the anatomy dosn't have to spot on. Oh, and good job!

I love your sketches and have seen the process you go through to finish em on your site. and can't wait to see them finished. The second colored sketch has some slight anatomy issues, but the action, looseness, and just overall flow disguises those little issues.

I'd like to see your new robot guys painted in the same way you did the previous sketches, with so much raw and looseness.

Sweet! Now lets see an update.
