hi, i just downloaded the painter trial from procreate (and i have to say... i will have to sell something to get that program.. it`s so cool... and by the way, i heard about it from this forum for the first time, a week ago hehe)...
any way, my problem you will see in the pic below... see, those are my first strokes in painter, and, i think i can get pretty aquainted with it, just some practice... BUT... my problem is... how do i make a highly reflective metallic surface:confused: ?????.... i am getting desperate... (and it`s the first hour in painter... hehe.... )....

hoo.. well.... i`ll have to wait for some of you guys to throw a hand at me here... a tutorial pointer, or a cool tip would be great....

thnx... here is the pic... (don`t laugh, ok?... it`s the first one.. and with my louzy shitty mouse.... [wish i had a wacom hehe])...

:p

Oh boy, and i told this smilie NOT to laugh!

But where is the problem, maddog? Just take a metallic ball, put it on your table and use it as a reference...i mean it needn't to be a ball, maybe a foot of a couch, lids of teapots, i don't know, find something in your environment which comes next to the material you want to draw...

I know you are working with 3D-software, so if you don't have something ball-like with a metallic surface around you, just make a sphere in your 3D-Software and render it with a metallic texture and a reflection map -> and -wham!- there is your tutorial :)
