I have a proposition for anyone who's interested. If not, well, thanks for looking anyway :^^;:

I need someone who can create high resolution sprites (200x400 roughly) for an indie side scrolling platformer/RPG that me and a few other people are working on. This will be a game we are planning on selling so you will share a small dividend of the returns if and when it is completed. Before I go any further on the details, this is the style we're looking for:

The Final Fantasy III DS Artwork Style is Preferred

We are in need of someone who can create sprites close to this style and we're hoping for good consistancy throughout sprites. If you think you're up for it, I'll pay $45.00 (negotiable) through PayPal for just several (est 12) sprites.

What we need at the moment are sprites of a character named Ark. Physical qualities are: male, medium build, shoulder length (messy) pure white hair, light blue to deep blue gradient eyes, layered black and white clothes (be creative) - possibly a white robe with black light armor underneath. If you have something else in mind, I'm more then open to working around your ideas. I'll provide more details to individuals interested.

We don't desire hundreds of frames of animation. Actually quite the opposite. Most animations will consist of only a few frames. Right now, the sprites we're in desperate need for are:

-Standing Left (2 frames)
-Standing Right (2 frames)
-Walking Left (2 frames)
-Walking Right (2 frames)
-Dashing Left (2 frames)
-Dashing Right (2 frames)

A total of 12 frames for $45.00 (again, negotiable). We are hoping that the money is more-or-less a bonus incentive as we are, as I stated, just a few indie developers. If your sprites are good, we'll be sure to request more in the future (for more pay, of course).

Hey, I'm curious, too. I just finished a project where we based the style heavily off of FF3, and I'm pretty capable with sprites. Check it out, send me a mail.

Hrmm, very impressive - both of you.

@flamehands
Very nice quick sketches! The style is very well mimicked. I like it - I'll wait a few days to make a decision though.

@snuggles
Your work is very good - very professional. Your goblin hunter picture very well demonstrates your abilities. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything on your page that is very well representive of the style we're looking for. A quick sketch similar to what flamehands posted would be very helpful for me :teeth:

Hi
I'm very interested in this project.
I recently did a project with WindWaker Link which features a similar style:

Thanks for the interest guys! I feel very fortunate to have such interest from such talented individuals. I have to report that flamehands will be working on the sprites as of now though. If I feel his work is insufficient for our needs, I will definitely contact anyone who has posted here.
