Hiya..
This is one of my current works.
I have spent about, hmm.. 15-20 hours on it, but its probably just as much left :)

Anyhow, i used photo as a reference.
The girl is called Zdanka, she was penthhouse pet 2001 or 2000.. Found her on free6. As im still learning to paint entirely from my head so did i cheat on this piece. I did trace her outlines (just so i easily would get the proportions).
I know that some ppl dislike that, but hey im learning, and on ALL MY NEW IMAGES i won't do it. This was the end of tracing era :D..

Anyway here is the original photos:
Original (http://www.hit.se.org/dump/dh02/sinsaint/sinsaint_org.jpg)

I have already gotten some cc's so i know that the hair, and that the right face is off, and that the left mouth is weird.
But i would love some CC's on the rest.
The coloring is gonna change for the final.
I just started on the wings, so the the babes dont shade it yet.

One thing that i'm having trouble with is the bottom of the image. What should i have here? Ideas welcome.

The top of the image is gonna be a gloria over the angel, and some nice lighting a la particles and magic around the angel.

Well enough talk, here is the image, 25% of original size:

nice color work, iīll give u that.... just a comment:

even if a pice i traced, it has to have some personality fo itīs own... i mean... adding a tail wonīt do it, because 1.- you can tell from miles that this is a traced piece, 2.- you traced it.... and u got wrong proportion?.. bended forearms?... (donīt get ofended, i am not a pro, but i tend to "look" at the pieces, no just watch....)... just, while tracing, and copying the shadows... let the brush flow a little on itīs own will.... then just maybe before you know, youll be doing it all for urself, not tracing....

un saludo...

Hey, yeah i know.. But it is the last picture traced. I have done several since then without tracing. This was just such a major project so im still working on it..
The main personality in all my images is currently just my coloring and technique. If you see my portfolio all my airbrushed images are very smooth..

Thanks for the comment maddog2002.
Im gonna check the elbow. I dont look at the tracing now when i have started coloring. I just use it for a start when adding base colors.

anyhow i DONT want this to be flamed by the tracing, just the image as i made it. Go to the draft section that i linked, there you can see the whole progress, from idea sketch -> trace -> my airbrushing.

Any constructive crits is appreciated.

hi, me again... must be pretty anoying to you hehe :D

nevertheless, i have something constructive this time.. hehe.. (sorry for the other, i was realy upset that day, cause i lost my pc, to my brother, over a stupid bet...)...

anyway, what i think would give those pieces a realy cool look would be, to grab a realy fine brush [meaning small], and give some highlights to the hair, oo, and to kill thos round endings on thehair, makes it loof fake, take a small brush, and put some downwards messy strokes, then the highlights with the same brush.... i think that would do it for the hair...

es todo, me despido... un saludo... :chug:
