I finally get to post something! This Forum is great and I hope somebody will tell me what they think of the Minotuar. This is a character painting in regards to a contest winner at Shadowpool.com. It's a RPG in production. I work with them to on creature concepts (for now). Read about the character at the link to Shadowpool - Trails of Ascension if you feel so inclined. I posted here because I do line art mainly. With this painting I was going for a Bizley feel.

the perspective of the horns is kinda wrong. the right one should not bend into the same direction as the left one and should not be on the same height, but these are just minor mistakes...otherwise a great pic, specially your mouth rocks!

i wonder what that thingy on the left side in the middle (that black stuff) is, you could have sharpened that out, also the metal plate on his shoulder is a little blurry, but you know...im just picking out the details.

I see what you mean about the horns. I painted over a very rough sketch and it was hard to feel out which way the horns where going. I origionally meant the left horn to bend out away from the other - did it pretty quick just so I could post. I really started seeing mistakes when I mirrored the image.
Poor used of construction lines. I usually have a big problem with the keeping eyes level.
