yea i myself am pretty proud about my self on this piece.. but i think i did a pretty good job on this pic for my experience... its just basically a street fighter type dude i did for this website draw off type thing

This is your best work yet, be proud of urself, u are improving, just keep practicen more. For now just keep in mind the light source, you have a good feel for shading but your shading it all too uniformely so one side would be darker than the other or wherever depending on where u want the light source.

Really cool man! I think you nailed it. My only crit would be with the hands. When you ball your hand into a tight fist the knuckles make an arc and the fingers curve inwards, instead of a straight line. Makes for a more interesting hand shape.

thanks a lot guys.. yea tedsuo i always have a lot of trouble with fists . .i mean i can do hands any other way except curled up in a fist.. i was kinda trying to do it right cuz i was lookin at my fist as i drew but to no avail.. i screwed it up.. but i really need to practice on hands more:D thanks

cool stuff, my crit would be the face, seems like everything else has good detail, but when you get the head/face, its suddenly simplifies. i think if you fixed that, it'd be top notch stuff

Yes, pretty cool pic.
I like how you went through with the shading.
Atm i'd never have the patience to do so.
But i think the shading also is one of the main problems of the pic.
You can't say, where the light is coming from.
You only shaded a texture and not really shadows.
I'm also struggling with this atm and i know it's very hard to do well.
But anyhow, good picture.

its a good direction.
blurr your eyes at the whole piece and you will notice that nothing really pops out forward which makes it a bit confusing.

id say study up on lighting and depth techniques.

in my HUMBLE opinion, the rest of your guy has sinews, muslces, texture. that metal plate on his mouth is cool, but sooo simple, so much you can add to it, bolts, air holes, scratches, layers of metal, maybe some cloth hanging from it, some buckles, just like the rest of your guy. the eye just doesnt work for me, reminds me of a 'foot soldier' from the teenage mutant ninja turtles, good work

yeah i was never really a good light guy, :( , but thats one of the things im trying to get better at, but i also have some more years ahead of me, since im only 16, anyway.. but yea,sorry for asking this dumb question, what is atm? i dunno heh..

so ill try to work on the light source stuff in the future guys.. thankjs for commenting :D

k man ill try to do some of those changes.. i think scratchs bolts and junk would look cool.. ill try to do dat without messin it up heh ;) .. thanks:D
