So you are painting and then you randomly touch your windows key and then bam! you launch some weird thing or the start menu and ruin your piece and your concentration.

Want to turn off the key whenever you wish?

1_Go to: http://www.bytegems.com/ihatethiskey.shtml
And click 'Download NOW' at the top of the page.

2_Install the file after download

3_Open program. It will put an icon in your taskbar.

4_Double click the icon so the option menu goes up.

5_You now have the option to turn it off:
-- Never
-- In full-screen games only
-- In all full screen games and applications
-- ALWAYS OFF

Personally, i'm picking always off. I completely hate it and i've never gotten to the point where i've found it useful over clicking a few times with my mouse. Though if you do like it on, just not when painting, you can always just change the options when needed, or, turn off the 'Run this program when Windows starts'-- That way you have the option to turn on the program right before painting or gaming, then turn it off when done.

All the other options on the program are locked until you buy the deluxed edition.

Another effective method is: buy a Mac!

Just kidding, I will try this at home at my Windows-PC ;)

Thnx, Fipse

If you actually remove the key from your keyboard you cannot get warranties for the product because you've physically tampered with it.

I killed my caps lock, threw it away, never thought of killing the start button, but it is a useless button anyway. Ctrl+esc does the same thing as it.
