Stark and I are wanting to see who would be interested in a meet up/sketch party type thing. Its not affiliated with Massive Black, and its not really much of a workshop, just a way for people to meet and share each others art. We may be able to get some pros to come out and share some tips with us, but right now we're just trying to figure out if theres any interest. If you're interested in going just post your location so we can find an area thats convenient for everyone. Thanks guys.

Isn't this what the Local Artist Group forum is for? Well I don't have any problem of posting this somewhere else because I'm in Iowa. No one has responded to the thread I made. If there are more CA.org folks in Iowa we need a sweet place to meet.

I'm in the D.C metro area so anywhere around here would be great.

if there were some big event on the east coast the CATL-ATL would be a pretty good spot. Yeah it's not as central geographically in north america but the CATL Sketch Group is pretty active. meetings every week + big monthly meets. we're superduper active and would positively love to see / host / convene a special meeting for any of you other concept art dot orgers or even folks who are just interested in making good art!

Local Artist Groups is where it's at. That said you all should come down to the CATL ATL and draw with us...

Buck Weisel tell Grack hello! come down for dragon*con!

Well the thing is we are trying to avoid a specific east coast/west coast event. That way east coast people who want to go wont have to travel all the way across the west coast, and west wont have to travel to east. And its not really a local thing because we want people from all over to come, not just people in the area that the event is being held.

But of course, its up to you guys really because you are the people whos coming.

guggenmaneuver: thats definately a consideration, thanks for the info. (ill go check out whe dragon con is and see if i can make it).

I'm definitely interested.

San Francisco, CA. Though I'm occasionally on the East Coast.
