So I recently came across a video.. actually by Marko Djurdevic from Massive Black, which completely inspired me to look into post apocalyptic type of ideas, along with reading The Founding by Dan Abnett.. which kind of also inspired me.. I love the genre... it definately gives me sooo much more freedom in coming up with ideas compared to where I was before. Anyway heres a couple sketches.. one in photoshop which took roughly 2 hours........... but imo isnt good enough to be finished.. and the other a quick pencil sketch.

I think really im just trying to find a style and them I like.. the first one seems more cartoonish so the second I attempted to allow for more realism. Just kinda wondering if im going in the right direction and what not.. Ill post the second one when I finish a photoshop copy.

The images are indeed showing (for me at least). :]
I'm not a huge fan of this genre, but I like your fellow (peace sign on his gun!). His left arm and hand seem a little strange (could be mostly due to the heavily textured clothes he's got on). His right leg is also a off a bit--the foot looks a little too turned away given the knee position, maybe? That could probably be fixed by making the top of that shoe look rounder. Hope this helps.

OH MY.. yeah i see what your saying.. I fixed the leg this morning lol.. shortly after i posted the image.. I scribbled the texture in roughly because i was in a hurry... i think ill make another image of him.. more refined.. and refine the gun more.. ill post later
