Howdy CA,

My name is MickeyG, and I'm the Art Director for a video game company located in South Florida (USA) entitled "HELMsystems, LLC".
The company is currently seeking to expand its very talented team of Artists and Software engineers/Programmers, with select few 3D Character/ Weapons and Prop artists.
Our main project: "The Soulkeeper: Descent of an Empire" is a follow up of a very successful UT2004 (EPIC) total conversion which has been critically praised
by the international gaming press online and in print throughout the world, while it has also been award nominated by the IGF Competition.
That being said, Helm-systems consists of developers who have already worked in the industry,
and have finally come together over the years with the decision to shoot for something a bit more independent.

Job Position Qualifications:

● Fluency in either Maya, 3D studio max 7+, or Zbrush

● Able to work in a steady yet timely fashion

● Can produce both high and low poly renders of anything ranging from a small pine cone to a 20 foot dragon.

● Knowledge of Normal Mapping is a plus, but not required

● Able to cope with Constructive Criticism when given

● A strong passion for Video games

Benefits for new employees:

● Work with an amazing team of Developers from around the globe

● Comfort in expressing your own ideas with the rest of the team

● Working with a very flexible schedule

● Can work from your own home

● Credit will be given to each individual Artist. There's some pretty big companies looking at us, and they'll be looking at YOUR work. A perfect opportunity for new Artists who want to break into the industry.

Thanks again for your time,
Hope to hear from you soon!

You might want to include information on the sort of software you expect your artists to be using. . .

i am currently finishing my degree and looking to get into the games industry as a modeler. feel free to check out my portfolio at tharle.artistportfolio.net . although my current experience is mainly with bryce and sketchup i am going to be learning maya as fast as possible after uni (in a couple of weeks) and would love to get some volunteering work to put into my portfolio, plus i would just love to be part of a game such as this as i am also an enthusiastic gamer.

drop us an email at tom_harle@hotmail.com if you're interested in discussing this further.
