WIP Pyramid Eye Controls the Masses.

This is a free commission I'm doing, I've got good reactions from the guy but I wanted to bounce it off a few people first. I'm posting the first pic and then changes since the last set of feedback.

1st draft:

Feedback:

1. Tighten up the eye beam and make it brighter
2. Retool the UPC symbol a bit and put a 666 on it.
3. Remove white and glow from the bottom part of the pyramid
4. Make a widescreen version…

5. The other thing I thought about doing was having his head raised up, with the tattoo on his forehead. The beam could be pure white and hitting the back of his head, and the UPC could be glowing like the lines of the pyramid.

I think I like it better with the head up. It reads more clearly to me.
I don't like the expression on his face though. I can't tell if he's smiling or grimacing.

heres my reactions..
1.) I echo what the last poster said
2.) I like the idea that the people are slaves to the symbol on the back of the dollar
3) barcode denotes capitalism, also nice
4.) remove the 666, the eyed pyramid is a symbol of the free masons who most notably essentially founded America, combining the symbol and the 666 seems to spell that America is in cahoots with or harboring the devil. i think this is fairly bad taste, regardless of your views of America there are groups of people with whom you can make a better case for demonic possesion
5.) the people in the upper right bakround look strange, they see to be floating and the females anatomy might be off

Good points on the facial expression and ground texture (characters floating)

As far the Mason/Illuminati 666 thing - the commission requested it.

If you really want to get nerdy/Discordian about it:
666 represents the female aspect and Kallista, which is part the "Illuminatus Trilogy" canon.
666 can also be broken down to 2*3,2*3,2*3, or 23/23/23, or 5/5/5.
There are 5 sides sides to the Pyramid/five sides to the Pentagon.
There are also 5 numbers represented.
5 and 6 are a repetitive theme in all Masonic works)
The 1 and 3 bordering - 13 is number of states in the union, the number of stripes in the flag, and the number of stars over the eagle on the back of the dollar. (again, designed by the Masons)

Yeah, I'm a dork, and I didn't plan that going in, but maybe it's subfnordconscious.
