i have not posted in here for a long time,
i have since moved to a new town, and started working here in dallas as a concept artist, storyboard artist, and all around art guy(3D modeling and photoshop work)

i am working for Corgan Associates, an architectural company, which has a media lab inside the company, the media lab is reaching out for creative work. outside the architectural work.
in the 6 months i have been here, i believe we had made huge strides in reaching this goal.

been hard at work. so no time to post up on here. but i have had some in between time to do some artwork on the side, for my enjoyment.

check them. out! tell me what ya think and dont be shy.
thanks!!
jose

i have some ideas on doing a batgirl animated series, i need to get on disigning the rest of the cast. it would be very politcal not necessarily solving the problems of todays society, but bringing them into light, i listen to jurassic 5, el gran silencio, and ozomatli, so if you know of those bands then you can get an idea for the tone of the show, but it would be very comical at the same time. very pop, yet dark at the same time.
if ya can get the drift.

anyways thanks for check out my art.

PEACE!!

Great stuff!

Although they're all similar in regards to style and subject, you've actually got an impressive variety here. Really good expressions.

I really like the one of your stepsister. I'm not sure why, but that one stands out to me. The blonde is really good too, she looks a lot like an old coworker of mine (although she had dark hair). The bubble butt one is really cute.

In a few cases, the backgrounds can get a little too chaotic. The one with your stepsister works well, but in a few others the background can get pretty distracting.

I really like the background and text of the Batgirl image. I like where you're going with her, although I'm not sure the miniskirt fits the rest of the character design (and it seems a bit impractical for a hero who does a lot of acrobatics). Her arms, especially the one behind her, appear a bit too short.

0kelvin-
thanks for the crits, i never really saw that until you said something about her arms, thanks.

the backgrounds i am still working on, the stepsis, i think its the expression on her face, that really grabs you. the haloish background around her is the dallas metroplex map, the loops and highways really worked well around the composition, it just clicked.

thanks again.

fookchai-
