I'm in maya hell right now, I'm modeling a fat girl flower monster and I'm having trouble getting the proportions right and attaching the breast in the right areas. Can anyone here help?

Have you ever heard of Mitch Byrd? He's a fantastic artist that seems to have an affinity for large women. He has great tutorial book called Notes to Draw From. It's focus is comic book illustration, however, he has a fantastic break down of how the flesh sits on the body, how it is effected by gravity and motion, etc. It isn't a tutorial for Maya, but understanding these basics in a 2d world before trying to sculpt them in a 3d digital one is fundamental.

You've got two main challenges here: first, as Khal says, you have to understand what is going on with the anatomy. That's something you can work on with drawing or with modeling. Then there's the problem of rigging. Your model will have to have geometry that deforms correctly in the right places. The character may need to be rigged differently from a skinny character.
