3D Art Director (Video Games) *includes international travel
Massive Black is hiring a 3D Art Director (based in San Francisco), to oversee high-end video game and entertainment art production, and assist with occasional teaching in our growing studio in Shanghai. We are looking for games experience, good communication and a modeling/texturing portfolio of next-gen quality art.

Requirements: High proficience in Maya or Max
Minimum 3 years Experience Creating Video Game 3D (80 percent of our 3d work is next-gen games with normals maps, and the host of shaders)
High Proficience in Modeling and Texturing next-gen game art. High proficience in Photoshop, Zbrush/Mudbox/ Body Paint or Deep Paint Strong knowledge in character, creature, environmental 3d required.
Interested in teaching and sharing knowledge (we are big on that here)
Experienced ability to Art Direct and oversee quality of team generated 3d.
Willing to travel and experience new places.
Good communication skills required as there will be some speaking with clients regarding the work during project development.
Must LOVE great 3D and have the skills that goes with that.
