Great Sidewalk art, but that christian artist website will haunt my dreams for a few weeks. Especially the "Christ as youve never seen him before."

Let me clarify my position then, i am a fan of the artwork, not of the site.

I really wish people would stop using Papyrus. Nice sidewalk art though.

Thanks for the feedback on the site.

It is up for redesigning.

Any cc (or was the concern the content?)?

Thanks again.:)

Sweet Zombie Jesus! I thought this was gonna be that email you get every few monthes with the guy that does the perspective pieces with chalk. That was a really nice piece. It actually might be cool to video tape it getting washed away.

ditto, though I didn't find the sidewalk art to be memorable even though it was well executed. Just didn't seem to say anything, it was just there and looked cool...

Religion always makes for long, arduous and angry lounge posts. Bare in mind, everyone here is an artist, and not all are christian. So by making the drive to convert artists to christianity through art, you in turn bastardize the art. Art decorating a faith is beautiful, art meant to steer it, is ugly.

In no way shape or form can you:
1) know without a shadow of a doubt that even any god exists
2) know anything your particular religion teaches is actually what this god's "purpose" for my art is
and lastly...
3) ever state that my art is not my own creation that i alone give purpose to.

At the very least........we don't want another 50 page topic on religion. Ugh. It never goes well.

Back to the topic of this thread: that sidewalk art is amazing man, quite impressive in means of execution and form. as for the website, I think a redesign wouldn't hurt, but you do have the right to say what you want with your art, so more power to you. Keep working at it and building on it. It's cool to take in feedback from others, as we should to grow, but don't let it stifle the voice that is in you. Take care and thanks for sharing -

Honestly at this point I could give a damn about the sidewalk art amazing or not. It kinda pisses me off that the dude posts acting like he just stumbled across this shit... I mean he's the artist of the fore mentioned painting, that needs a shit tone of work before it could really begin to serve its purpose... And clearly that was the reason for pointing anyone towards the site...

That said, your painting is a good start, and good job trying to attach meaning through symbolizm. You should try tackeling something much more difficult next, try putting your own thoughts into such symbolizm, the way you see the world, not the way you've been told to see it.

Yeah I won't go any further in that direction.
