Need help with a Skeleton Raiding Party

I feel like I'm 80-90% finished with this, but now its feeling muddy and off-balance to me. The idea I had in mind was a small group of Undead warriors in a valley at dawn. So there'd be some deep shadows behind the hills but there'd also be yellow-gold light.

would reddish-orange highlights pop more or be distracting?

Try it out. Thats the beauty of digital art: the undo button. :D

I would add in detail with a smaller brush. the grass looks very lumpy and unrealistic with such large strokes. More silluotes on the horizin near the left might help with the balance issue.

you might want to try lowerign the horizon a bit.
